Plain language, because a privacy policy nobody reads protects nobody. If anything here is unclear, ask and we will answer it directly.
We run no advertising, no ad pixels, and no data-broker relationships, and we sell nothing about you to anyone. One thing does deserve saying plainly rather than burying in a list:
We can usually tell which company is visiting. We use website visitor tracking from Apollo, which matches the network your visit comes from against a business database and returns the company it most likely belongs to. It does not tell us your name — person-level identification is switched off. If we have already contacted your firm, a visit here may be recorded against that company, and it may be why you hear from us again.
If you would rather not be counted, any tracker-blocker will stop it, and we will read nothing into that either way.
Two other things happen automatically when the page loads:
The scheduling calendar on our site is provided by SavvyCal. Loading the page loads their code, which means SavvyCal can see that your browser requested it, before you interact with anything.
If you go ahead and book a Clarity Call, you give us:
That information sits in SavvyCal and in our own calendar, which runs on Microsoft 365. We use it to prepare for the call and to contact you about it. Nothing more.
Clarity Calls run on Zoom, so Zoom processes the connection and standard meeting metadata. We do not record Clarity Calls. If that ever changes for a specific call, we will ask you first, on the call, and you can say no.
During an engagement we look at your commercial data: pipeline records, closed-won and closed-lost, and conversations with people in your business. That data is yours.
We do not publish client names. Engagements are described by shape and size only, never by name, and your figures are never used in another company's pitch. We will sign your NDA rather than ask you to sign ours.
Only the services named above, each doing the job it is there for: Vercel hosts the site, Google serves the fonts, Apollo identifies visiting companies, SavvyCal runs the scheduling, Microsoft 365 holds the calendar and email, Zoom carries the call. We do not sell, rent or share your information with anyone else, and there are no advertising or data-broker relationships behind this site.
We keep booking details while a conversation is live, and client materials for the duration of an engagement plus a reasonable period afterwards for our own records.
You can ask us at any time what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask us to delete it. Email amber@fortresslab.io and we will action it. You do not need to give a reason.
If this page changes materially, the date at the top changes with it.
